Everybody’s Watching
(Aaron Howard 2010)

You wake up in a cold world
It’s just another day
Suddenly you’re older
And life got in the way
Of all that you’d been hoping
In a brighter place and time
If only you had noticed
The years were flying by

Now and then you wonder how you let it get that far
And if you’ll ever find yourself again

As far as you can tell
You know you’re falling down and everybody’s watching
As you lose your mind
There’s more than what you say
And where you stand and why you’re fading you’ve forgotten
That you still have time
You still have time

It’s getting harder to remember
What it felt like to be bold
And you never did say never
But you never thought you’d feel this old
All that hope was just a warning
Of how crazy you’d become
But you’re thinking back to mornings
When your world was bright and young

And for the first time in a long time you feel like you could cry
And you wonder if you know yourself at all

As far as you can tell
You know you’re falling down and everybody’s watching
As you lose your mind
There’s more than what you say
And where you stand and why you’re fading you’ve forgotten
That you still have time
You still have time

It’s all that you can do to keep your feet
There’s more to you than anybody sees
For everything you’ve been told of what these brighter days should hold
You’re on your knees
You’re on Your knees

As far as you can tell
You know you’re falling down and everybody’s watching
As you lose your mind
There’s more than what you say
And where you stand and why you’re fading you’ve forgotten
That you still have time
As far as you can tell
You know you’re falling down and everybody’s watching
As you lose your mind
There’s more than meets the eye
And what you hide and show collide and you’ve forgotten
That you still have time
You still have time
You still have time to start again
